Mike Pence calls Trump the most ‘pro-life president in history’
General Michal Flynn has urged President Donald Trump to use the military to force an election “rerun.”
The former national security adviser said in an interview on Thursday that there is no way” the US is going to be able to move forward as a nation and suggested Mr Trump seized voting machines.
Meanwhile, Mike Pence has told supporters of Mr Trump that were going to keep fighting” in an attempt to energise supporters for the upcoming 5 January Georgia senate run off elections.
It comes as Joe Biden gave his first interview as president-elect where he defended his son amid an investigation into his tax affairs.
Appearing on The Late Show, hosted by Stephen Colbert, alongside his wife Dr Jill Biden, he said: “We have great confidence in our son. I am not concerned about any accusations made against him. It’s used to get to me.’
Meanwhile, hackers targeted the National Nuclear Security Administration and Energy Department, which safeguard the countrys nuclear arsenal.

How North Dakota became a Covid cautionary tale
The rural state had every advantage in the fight against the virus, but complacency and conspiracy helped the spread, reports The Independents Richard Hall
As summer turned to fall, Renae Moch, public health director for the state capital Bismarck, watched with horror as the sick filled hospitals across her state. Unlike much of the country, North Dakota had refused to introduce strict measures to contain the coronavirus, and its citizens were paying the price. For her efforts to save the lives of her fellow citizens and limit the spread of the coronavirus for doing her job Moch was called a Nazi, a tyrant and a liar. In the eyes of many North Dakotans, she was public enemy number one.

Opinion: Mitch McConnell and Nancy Pelosi want you to think theyre heroes. Really, they should be ashamed
No matter what Democratic leaders say publicly, their rank-and-file members will tell you it was foolish to hold out for six months for a $2 trillion package that Republicans were never going to bring to the Senate floor, much less pass.  And no matter how loudly Republicans spend the next few weeks declaring victory over the size of this measure, their demand of an even smaller package or none at all was equally unreasonable, writes John T Bennett for Independent Voices.
Both held out for half a year as American families and businesses struggled to put food on the table and pay their rent or mortgages over their biggest demands: tens of billions to help cash-depleted state and local governments (Democrats) and new liability protections for businesses and other entities to guard them from Covid-related lawsuits (Republicans).
The two have drawn out a Covid relief package process for months while Americans suffered. And where exactly is Donald?

President Trump has taken another dig at the right-leaning network Fox News calling it a dead news channel and claiming its ratings are falling, without any data to back this up.
Mr Trump tweeted on Wednesday: Can’t believe how badly @FoxNews is doing in the ratings. They played right into the hands of the Radical Left Democrats & now are floating in limboland. Hiring fired Donna Brazile, and far worse, allowing endless negative and unedited commercials. Fox News is dead. Really Sad!
