Man United are hoping to win the Premier League for the first time since 2013 this season.

Manchester United will struggle to win the Premier League this season as they can’t win games as consistently as neighbours Manchester City.
That’s according to former City man Joleon Lescott, who expects Chelsea and Liverpool to be tougher challengers to the Blues’ throne.
It’s now been eight years since United last lift the league title when Sir Alex Ferguson guided the club to triumph in his final season in 2013.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to end the drought and the club have made some strong signings, in the form of Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane, in order to do so.
However, Lescott can’t see United being able to go on a big enough winning streak to overthrow their closest rivals.
City won the league at a canter last season, finishing 12 points ahead of United in second, and a run of 15 wins on the bounce between December and March is what saw them leave their competitors in the dust.
“Yeah definitely,” Lescott told the Manchester Evening News when asked if he expected it to be a tight title race. “Very competitive, very close.
“Because all those teams now are capable of going on a run that allows you to win the title.
“I still, and I don’t mean in a disrespectful way, I don’t see United being there throughout the season, because I just believe the new norm to win a title now with City, Liverpool and Chelsea, to the back-end of last season, you have to go on and win nine games out of 10.
“I don’t see United doing that, maybe with new signings, but in regards to previous years they have great unbeaten runs but in them 12 games they will have four or five draws, which we’ve seen over the last few seasons, you can’t do that.
“You need to go out and win seven, eight, nine games in a row and just build up that ridiculous momentum. I see the other teams doing that and have history of doing that.
“It will be close. I believe Chelsea are the biggest contenders to Liverpool and City, I believe City are favourites and rightly so but Chelsea are strong contenders.”
