RUTH Langsford and husband Eamonn Holmes are set to return to the This Morning sofa next month when regular hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield take a break.
Fans of the couple were devastated when they lost their Friday morning slots on the show, but will be delighted they are back for the school holidays.

Speaking about her return, Ruth told OK! Magazine: Well be doing seven weeks from July. Im looking forward to it.
Ruth and Eamonn had presented Friday’s episode of This Morning since 2006 – but after a shake-up they are now only called in during the school holidays when the main hosts enjoy some well-earned time off.
However the pair were absent during a recent half-term, leaving Alison Hammond and Dermot OLeary to take the reins.

One furious fan tweeted at the time: “Wheres Eamonn and Ruth? This wasnt the deal? They said wed get them for the holidays, not half the holidays!”
Ruth and Eamonn hosted their last weekly episode in December after being forced out as part of a shake-up on the daytime hit.
A TV insider had previously told The Sun that Eamonn feared he was “too pale, stale and male” to remain a regular face on the show for much longer.

A source said at the time: Eamonn and Ruth are incredibly popular with viewers and loved across the board.
No one wants to see them go. The shows execs have some very tricky decisions. Eamonn fears he is basically too pale, stale and male, and, at 60, perhaps not in line with the youth drive broadcasters are after.”
