May 10, 2021

Heroes of Azeroth, are you prepared to face the Betrayer once again? A new expansion, World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic is coming your way this 1 June 2021.
The upcoming Burning Crusade Classic is a recreation of World of Warcrafts first expansion, with all of the Outland-related content available to experience with the appropriate power levels and progression mechanics.
A recreation of the first World of Warcraft expansion, the upcoming Burning Crusade Classic will allow players to enjoy all of the Outland-related content available to experience with the appropriate power levels and progression mechanics.
New to this expansion are two new playable races – the Blood Elves and Draenei – new starting zones in the Azuremyst Isles and Eversong Woods, and new abilities like soaring and exploring flying mounts in Outland.
But you already knew that.
For many players who have experienced WoW, the Burning Crusade was the starting point for a good majority of the player base. It also allowed classes to breakout of their pigeonholes and allowed for a great variety of specs to be viable in a raid environment.
Beginning 18 May, World of Warcraft players can choose to progress their characters to Burning Crusade Classic or continue playing the original WoW Classic content on new Classic Era realms also launching that day. Players who want to experience both can use a character cloning service (also available on 18 May) for US$35 per character and exist on both WoW Classic and advance into Burning Crusade Classic.
Those who progress to Burning Crusade Classic will be able to participate in a limited-time in-game event as demonic agents from beyond the Dark Portal pour into the Blasted Lands and assault key locations across Azeroth. Players can also enhance their experience in Outland and purchase the option Deluxe Edition (US$69.99) that includes a character boost, a Phase-Hunter mount with both retail and Classic designs, a special hearthstone, and a Path of Illidan toy.
For many World of Warcraft players, the original Burning Crusade was their first step on an epic journey thats still going on todaybut for many others, stories of fleeing the Fel Reaver and confronting Illidan at the top of the Black Temple are just the stuff of legend, said J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard Entertainment.
With Burning Crusade Classic, we want to give players a chance to experience the trials and triumphs of Outland in a way that hasnt been possible for more than a decade, and do so adventuring alongside old friends and new. We cant wait to travel with everyone back through the Dark Portal once again.
World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic is launching 1 June 2021.
Don’t judge a book by its cover, for behind all this makeup, is a geek just like you. To simply put it, superheroes, Star Wars, Harry Potter and all things gore and creepy makes this girly girl swoon.
