Stand out favourites have emerged to replace Eoghan McDermott on 2fm Breakfast.
The radio presenter has been missing from the show for the past two weeks, leading to major speculation online that he has left on a permanent basis.
Eoghan landed the show alongside Doireann Garrihy back in May 2019.
RTÉ and Eoghan have both remained silent on the claims and have yet to return any requests for comment.
Doireann’s former Spin 1038 co-star Martin Guilfoyle is the main-runner to replace McDermott on the 6-9am slot each weekday morning.
Odds from Boylesports show Guilfoyle has moved to 3/1 from 10/1 with plenty of punters confident that the duo will be working on air together again.
